BC made it back last year, but he had the surgery at the beginning of the summer and had 5 months to heal. Korbin only has one bad disk where I think BC had 3, but it's going to be tough to make it back in time to make a run this year. While obviously bummed, he was still very upbeat and positive. He really likes Blacksburg and is hoping to stay around the area after he graduates.

No thanks to me for this info, it was my son EJ who spotted him and walked over to say hello. Korbin took several minutes to talk with EJ; I'm always blown away by how willing wrestlers are to take the time with youngsters; one of the biggest things I love about the sport. Even when my son (all decked out in VT gear from head to toe) walked up to Jacob Kasper before the Duke match last year to say good luck, Jacob took the time to talk with EJ and remembered him when EJ said hey at the ACCT.
